Polo or Megane? Which would you choose?

Simple question. I'm looking for advice on which car would be the better option?

Both are year 2000. The Polo is a 1.4 litre Saloon and the Megane is a 1.4 litre hatchback sport. The Polo Air Conditioning, Immobiliser and Anti theft device and it has done around 90,000 miles.

The megane has alloys, air con, electric windows and mirrors, immobiliser, central locking and nearly tyres. It has done around 82,000 miles.

Just bought (recently) a 1.4CL Polo hatch. S reg. 82k+ on the clock. A lovely little motor. Personally wouldn't touch a Megane of that age.

Like the Polos. But right now I have my eye on a SEAT Cordoba. It's a '01. I am concerned though, that the timing belt hasn't been done yet and it has 90k on the clock. So that's where I'm at right now. Needs a small bit of work apart from that anyway.
