Pool Table Light

I'm installing a new pool table light in the ceiling and the light has 1 brown live wire and 1 blue neutral wire.

I'm not sure where to connect it via this connection I've uploaded a pic so if anyone could help that would be great.

Have a look in the sticky thread at the top of the forum - it has good lighting diagrams.

Fantastic. I did look at the sticky but I'll be honest I'm not diy savvy and especially with electrics I don't want to do ANYTHING wrong. So just unscrew the little screws feed it in and tighten??

turn the power off, pass the cable through the cover and then stick the wires in the holes... yes..
cover MUST go back on..

Turn of the power before you do anything! Not just the lightswitch, but the mainswitch in your consumer unit!

Looking at your photo, put the blue from the light in to the terminal block on the right (with the blue already in it), and the brown in the left hand terminal block (with the blue sleeved brown). One hole, one wire. Make sure everything's nice and tight.

what do you mean by cover must go back on
