porcelain black gloss floor tiles for shower enclosure walls

hi
are porcelain black gloss floor tiles ok to use in a shower enclosure on the walls and if so what grout and adhesive should i be using ,im replacing a bodged up job what they did is plaster board the enclosure but left 3 inch gap at the bottom then filled with tile adhesive then tiled on the plaster board now the tiles are coming loose at the bottom plaster boards is blown and mouldy,im replacing the plaster board with concrete board but does it need to be plastered before tiling or can it be tiled straight onto

Yes those tiles are fine.
Whatever wall surface you have in a shower, it's always advisable to tank the walls to provide a totally waterproof barrier. There's no need to skim (top coat plaster) plasterboard or Aquapanel before tiling - in fact it lessens the amount of weight you can have on the walls.
 
thanks for the info about tanking i have seen a kit for about 70 quid but what about the adhesive and grout a know about using different kind from the normal ceramic type but is that still ok to use in a wet area
