The sun's out so this gorgeous happy song from 1976 seems fitting...

Bring back strings in pop music. Anything sounds better with them in the background, but they became untrendy and dated in about 1980. Or the studios didn't want to pay musicians any more.

As the sun was slipping 'neath the hills last night, i spied a pale horse walking slow n' steady along the dusty track in the field o'er yonder; a pale rider 'pon its back. I took a slug o' sour whisky from the bottle and met his pale eye with a coool stare as he came closer...closer...close enough for me to see the demon lurking deep within that cold, pale eye.
