One of those songs that never ages
Another similar eye opener was 'you make my dreams come true' by Hall & Oates. I thought I knew most of their material but I only heard of this one in recent years when suddenly it was all over the TV being used on adverts, again it took me surprise to discover it was Hall and Oates.

'Beggin' was a relatively minor hit for the Four Seasons. It was covered by a group called Timebox in the 1960s, and this became the most well known version, until the Four Seasons original came back to prominence in the digital age. I prefer the Timebox version, I will put it on at some point.
