Motorhead 'Overkill', featuring the relentless, crazed drumming of Philthy Phil Taylor, 1979. Many of Motorhead's songs had big, rock & roll endings - this one has three! The 'Overkill' LP is their best, in my opinion...

Motorhead's release after 'Overkill' was 'Bomber', again in 1979, and this was the start of a golden age for the group; they could do no wrong for the next couple of years in Britain. Motorhead's label mates Girlschool did a version of 'Bomber', which I prefer to Motorhead's. Some fab WW2 bomber plane sound effects at the end...
