The Acropolis on the edge of Lindos
Greek Islands are my favourite Med destination. Food is great too - can't beat a bit of souvlaki, Greek salad and tatziki on the side. Ouzo to finish.

Apart from a couple of days in Athens on our way home from South Africa in 1982 and a few flying half-day visits from various cruise stop offs, last year was the first 'proper' Greek holiday we have had. We went to Crete. Mrs Mottie wanted to visit Spinalonga because she'd read about it in some book.Yeah we had some epic meals.
The people are so friendly
From Pefkos you can get a 10 euro taxi to Lindos, have a look at St. Paul’s bay on right hand side near the car parkApart from a couple of days in Athens on our way home from South Africa in 1982 and a few flying half-day visits from various cruise stop offs, last year was the first 'proper' Greek holiday we have had. I completely agree with you about the meals and the people. We've still got a couple of holidays to go on this year but we are definitely going back to the Greek islands if not this year, next year for sure. I like the look of the photos you posted so I’m thinking Rhodes next time.![]()

Is that Center parks Thetford? We're taking our kids, plus husbands and wives and our grandkids there in September. They said something about a zip line that goes across the lake.

Lovely place. We were there a few years ago. Don't miss the Uffizi Gallery if you like that sort of thing.
