Prague Castle and Charles Bridge - from Legionnaire's Bridge.
We had a wonderful week in Prague, must be over 30 years ago now. It was before it became popular as a film location and before the stag party scene took off. Part of me would like to go back but the other part wants to remember it as it was.
I'm the same with Sharm el Sheikh, spent a night or two sleeping on the beach when there were no hotels, I could never holiday there now.
Anyway enjoy your holiday, I know you will.

When I stumbled on it while heading south to Ras Mohammed, there was a concrete promenade running the length of the beach and 1 single half built empty hotel at one end, a bloke had a shack halfway along the beach giving diving lessons and selling beers in the evening.
That's how I want to remember it.

Don't you get bused in via a single gate with armed guards protecting the resort from islamist attacks on Western tourist. Its basically an enclave that is not safe to leave.
I put it up there with Tunisia as an Islamic terrorist attack waiting to happen, so no thanks.

Hence why I wouldn't go there. My brother drives his Camper to Morocco every year. I dont trust that place

I think they live off of mice, rats and pigeons that frequent the allotments.

Joined by these lovelies for about 15 minutes
Not when I was there, it was occupied by Israel. We were a group of 12 with an M1 carbine between us, at night we took 2 hour stints on guard.
I don’t normally give to beggars but I made an exception and gave a few bob for the dogs.
