Why do they always wear shorts, even in the winter?

Asked our postie and he said its because they have to walk through long grass, past bushes etc and when its been raining long trousers get soaked whereas legs dry out quickly. He also said they have a competition to see who can wear them the latest in the year.

I was born 1951, so there is no question that I am over 21, there are no children in the house, and the parcel contains cutting dies for use with a roller press, with around a 1 mm long blade, which needs a lot of pressure to even cut paper or card.

I had an old powder fire extinguisher, small one in the kitchen that the pressure gauge was on empty. Replaced it with a new one took the old to the tip but thought just out of interest does it still work so pulled the pin and trigger and the whole thing went off, I quickly chucked it in the metals bin and took to opportunity to "vanish" in the white cloud. It looked like a massive chemical emergency as I drove off.

Yep I never give my correct DOB in those circumstances. Did get caught once in Ikea forgot my Ikia family card for some discount so they said "no matter just need your address and DOB" but I couldn’t remember what fake DOB i signed up with

We weren't allowed to wear shorts at work, we had to wear the supplied work wear. When asked why we couldn't wear shorts, management said as we were working using very hot items and could come into contact with sharp things, it was a safety thing. But, the shirts they supplied were short sleeve polo shirts. Don't arms get injured?

I used to work at a place and if you wore a t-shirt you had to wear forearm covers....nightmare

whilst i agree
with trusted institutions, they should not ask for unessiserally accurate information when not required as most by default will give accurate information automatically
