Hi all
We recently put a cupboard round a potterton flamingo plenty of ventilation holes we think and at least 100mm around it.Last week the gas main in the road was replaced and an engineer turned on the main and relit the boiler, at the same time he changed the regulator on the meter.Since then the pilot light keeps going out and so no hot water etc.
any Ideas?
To me it seems to much of a coindcedence that the problem occured directly after the regulator was changed to be any thing else.
Dirt in the pilot jet maybe?

Maybe or could be thermocouple or gas valve....ancient boiler though will have nasty disintergrating asbestos rope seals to get to the tc.
