Potterton Performa 24

Hi all

Just joined as I ahve a few quick questions that I hope can be answered.

Bought a house, repossession so no details on the heating system. Model is a potterton performa 24 and looks reasonably new. Previous owners had attempted some improvements and never finished, hence some floor boards still being loose where they've been lifted to run the central heating pipework... bathroom not quite finished.

My questions are thus:

Where can I find the users manual for this boiler?

Can I fit a room thermostat? All of the rads (9) have individual thermostats on them, but I would like to have further control over the entire system via a room stat... What sort would I need and what sort of price... can they be done wirelessly on this type of boiler, or must it be wired... If wired only, placing it on the landing (boiler is in an upstairs cupboard).

Any weak spots with this model boiler... System was drained about a year ago when house repossessed, will be getting it refilled and serviced next week, should I add an inhibitor (what sort do I need and how much?)

Anything else I should do?

I assume that the number (24 in my case) relates the the KW output of the unit.

Judging from the info on that page, It will work with a wireless room stat... Are they universal, or do you need specific ones for certain units?

Sorry for more questions, my knowledge on these things is zilch.
