Potterton prima 30b

Hi all I’m thinking of buying a house with an open vented system with a potterton prima 30b boiler in it.Im guessing the boiler is over 20 years old , are they still serviceable?are parts still available?It was working on viewing.were these boilers good or were they unreliable?,and best replaced.

I’ve had a look and parts are still available. I don’t know if these Pottertons were any good, however I wouldn’t be writing if off just yet if it works and doesn’t cost the earth to run.

Reliable and negative case pressure unlike the profile so better boiler.

30b is balanced flue and not fanned flue, so it will have a permanent pilot. Fairly bulletproof.
