This was a new boiler that came with the property about 7 years ago. It started having these intermittent igniting problems last year so I took out a maintenance contract with BG. They checked everything out and found it was a fault with the pcb so they repled it but the problem never really did go away. BG engineers were called back several times but couldn't find anything wrong so this year I didn't bother renewing the contract.
Sometimes I have to press the reset button 2 or 3 times before it decides to ignite, you can hear it clicking as if it's about to ignite but more often that not it will fail. It's a bit of a pain when you set the timer for the heating to come on before you get home as chances are it won't.
Is this a job for a CORGI or could a bit of DIY resolve it?
Thanks papa
