Hi,

My Potterton suprima central heating system is continually heating the water even though it isn't set to be on. The water is piping hot and does not need heating. When I look at the system the green LED is flashing, I have tried the reset button, then the light goes to red and then back to green flashing. The boiler is whirring away for approximately two-three minutes and then it cuts out for about five seconds and then starts up!!
Can anyone please advise what the problem might be? at the moment I have had to turn the system off at the mains.

Many thanks in advance

Do you have 2 motorised valves (normally in the airing cupboard area). They may look like this
