Power Devil lawnmower (3.50 Hp) pull recoil starter

the two pieces of metal that spring out when you the pull recoil starter is pulled to start the mower are damaged. does any one one know where to get these. Or the whole pull recoil starter?

Try the Amazon route for this one.....it’s unlikely to be unique but I don’t know any outlet for Power Devil machinery.
I’m surprised that the dogs are damaged though, they are usually the last part to fail.

thank will do, do you know the name of then engine on those mowers. I found plenty pull recoil starter on ebay but they are classified by engine name or number not by machine name.

I’ll need a few close up pics I’m afraid, all I can say is that it’s Chinese in origin......but they are all pretty similar to each other.

The nearest similarity that I can see is that of a Tecumseh engine, but I'd recommend GHS Ltd for replacement parts.
If you search for 'recoil starters' in their website you may be able to get somewhere, and they are very helpful over the phone.
