I have a home theatre plugged into a socket in my lounge and when someone in the bathroom (which is a few feet away) switches off the extractor fan I get a "thud" come through my sub woofer.
Would it be a dodgy light/extractor switch that needs replacing? Or would it likely be something else?
The power point which my home theatre is plugged into looks like it was added after the house was built because the cables have not been sunk into the wall, they have been laid in conduit on the surface of the wall next door to the lounge (laundry room) so this looks like a spur (not sure at this stage were the feed comes from for the spur).
