I have power to my shed which goes to a 2 fuse consumer unit......15 amp for sockets and 5 for lights.

I want to replace this consumer unit as it is old but don't know if you can get a unit with only 2 outlets. Are they available or should I use 2 FCUs?

Sorry to interrupt you watching Britains Got Talent!

£43

Any other ideas please?

ebay, but you're gonna have to get a grown up to fit it that is if they'll fit client bought kit. Sorry for the brief answers, don't like Britains got talent but do like casualty.

TLC is +VAT and +P&P so not always cheap :(
Screwfix is free P&P over a certain amount and don't forget the 5% off voucher at the top of the forum :D

Don't use 2 FCUs as you need a single point of isolation, a consumer unit is a better plan as suggested above. Is the circuit feeding the shed protected by an RCD?

If £43 sounds expensive - wait until you find out how much it will cost you to notify this work to your LABC (as you are legally required to do due to Part P of the building regulations - or get the work done by a member of a Part P competent persons scheme who can self certify his/her own work)...

If you're happy to use a plastic enclosure, don't need a weatherproof one and don't mind a bit of fiddling about to terminate earths & neutrals you could buy a generic 2 or 4 module enclosure and a couple of MCBs for about £15.

Have you link pls?

It is existing installation so don't need part P . :D
