Hi,

I have an Electriq 9000 BTU easyfit pre-charged system.

The pipes coming from the inside unit are pre-charged and need connecting to the extensions pipes. The instruction are complete and utter trash, so I have no idea how I'm supposed to connect these without losing all the gas. Anyone have any idea?

The units are also complete and utter trash so don't expect it to last too long, especially with a DIY install...

Normally the gas is inside the unit with isolation valves closed off, and the pipework itself is not charged. Check to see if that's the case.

Looks like it contains R290. This does not require FGAS qualification, but could still cause problems.
Are you able to pressure test and vacuum the pipework?
The refrigerant is propane, so would be hazardous if it were to leak.

Thanks, it was the unit itself. The pipe is just charged from the factory. Got it working fine. We'll see how long it lasts. Did get a quoted and came back as £1600, so this was £1000 cheaper. Appreciate you get what you pay for, but my budget is emptied so I guess I'll save for a proper unit once this one dies out.
