I have a kitchen floor that’s part wood (floorboards) and concrete (laid a few years ago as part of an extension), fair to say they’re not exactly that level either. Currently I’ve lino down which is looking worse for wear and I’d like to replace it.
I’ve two questions please - firstly how would I best go about preparing both floors (wood and concrete); I’ve thought about self levelling compounds which I’ve used in small amounts before to really good effect, but these were on concrete not wood or a combination.
The second question is about choice of floor - I know this is largely personal, but any experiences both good and not so good would be welcome,
Thank you
