I am about to do a few small jobs for someone i know.

What is a reasonable price for fitting a outside tap on a wall that is about 2 meters from a cold feed pipe?

How much should i charge to replce a float op ball valve?

And the last one, What price wold i charge to fix a leaking waste on a basin?

Not being able to see the job, it makes its hard to give you a price for the outside tap. (Cant see it, cant quote it). £40 - £60 :?:

Personally, a ball valve is charged out at £30 inc part and labour.

The last one.... dunno to be honest.

outside tap £100 + VAT the last one I did.

Ball valve £67.50 + VAT

Waste leak £60 + VAT

O, i need to re consider my prices,

I changed a ball valve, only charged them 30quid,

they supllied the fittings though,

under priced do we think?

If your happy with it and its not took you long then thats all that matters.
Quite easy to make a couple of hundred quid a day doing the wee jobs nobody else wants.
Also if your reasonably priced for small jobs the big payers will come from it.

namsag, thats a good way to look at it, never thought of it like that,
ill keep this in mind.

thanks mate,
regards
