I want to lay 600x400mm limestone floor tiles on a newly laid concrete slab. It's laid flat so no need for screed. The room needs to be used asap so I don't have time to wait for the usual 28+ days before tiling.
Therefore I'm going to use
1) Decoupling membrane on S2 adhesive
2) Stone on S2 adhesive
The S2 will allow some movement as the slab continues to set. The membrane also allows some movements of moisture under the stone.
The question is whether to use a primer on the concrete and if so which one? Obviously a primer is normally recommended but most products specify that the surface must be dry and there will still be some movement of moisture for a few weeks given this is a green slab. Would a primer somehow either seal the water in the slab and cause problems, or be affected by excess moisture and not do it's job?
