Problem with RF room stat (salus rt300rf)

Remove the link.

Terminal #4 (Ch on) to COM

SL (on) from Salus to #5 (white MV wire)

SL (off) from Salus has no function.

Obviously retain L, N & E to receiver.

You don't need mains switching to get it to work.

Connect programmer #3 to terminal #4 to Salus common and remove the 230V link. Connect Salus NO to terminal #5 (MV white) and re-do all voltages.

We need to eliminate the Salus thermostat from our investigations.

1. Is the receiver's Green Light ON when your boiler goes on with the stat turned low?

2. Does the boiler go out when you turn the receiver OFF, using the switch on the receiver (Red Light goes out]?

If the answer to both is yes, then the problem lies with the thermostat or its wiring. Make sure you have used the SL ON terminal of the Salus receiver.
