I’ve recently installed a Danfoss RET2000ms digital thermostat.

however I’ve got a problem with it. I’ve tried setting it up in the advanced settings to come on at a low temperature 18 degrees and shut off at 22 degress. When it does come on ( rarely) it won’t stay on until it reaches the 22 degrees upper limit, it will shut off way before then and only be on for a few mins. Barely any time at all.

Display will say it’s calling for heat but the rads don’t get warm let alone hot. didn’t have this issue before I swapped from the old dial type Honeywell. I’ve checked the motorised valve and that’s not the issue. I definitely think it’s on the thermostat.
Anyone got any ideas what’s going on?

It could be the settings, as it can be used for cooling also.
