Problems with hot water

I have a Vokera Maxin 24e, about 5 years old. Problem is when the hot water tap is turned on it takes about a minute before the boiler fires up and another 15-20 sec's till the water starts to get warm. The CH is fine.

I am finding it virtually impossible to get hold of a plumber, don't seem to want to know unless its worth 2-300 quid to them... that is not however I'm sure indicative off all plumbers, just those around me!!

Any advise much appreciated

Could be diaphragm failure. Fairly straightforward repair (usually - don't know about Maxin) and spare part is cheap.
