Hi all
any quick methods of finding the switch live in the connections in a boiler?
i have a BAXI 100 he system boiler. the programmer installed is integral so ( according to baxi ) has to remain in place. i need a 2 channel one which will be about 30 ft away from the boiler. to by-pass this.
can a standard programmer be used? what is the correct method of wiring at the programmer and at the boiler, is twin and earth ok for this?
cheers

Switch live - consult the installation manual for the boiler. Or, test for what is live when the boiler is powered on using suitable test equipment.

T+E is NOT suitable, as inevitably more than 2 cores will be required, so you will need multiple lengths of it. 5 or 7 core flex is a more suitable choice.

Most programmers can probably be used, provided they are wired in properly.
