programmer for worcestor

I have a worcester R40 HE ZWBR., with an onboard electronic programmer

I want to fit an external prorammable room thermostat, (to use instead of the fiddly timer on board) but it appears that you can only fit the Worcestors own make of room stat, which isn't programmable.

Any ideas, please?

hes talking about the HE / HE plus with what sounds like the inbuilt text display.

op can you post a piccy, when i was fitting these years ago the stat i fitted was a TR2 which is a worcester product which is hard wired
