What I see is up to 9 people unable to explain how and why using a mains dimmer switch on the speaker output of an amp shows an understanding of how they work, unable to explain how such a design shows competence at installing audio systems, unable to explain how it showed good judgement for someone with obviously no experience to agree to do it for a 3rd party in a public place and yet believing that such ignorance, incompetence and lack of judgement should not be mentioned.

They are the deluded ones.

That apart, I believe peoples reaction to you is that they see you as enjoying putting others down, crushing their arguments .

That is their interpretation. Or delusional invention if you prefer.

Even if you are correct, most people do not enjoy the metaphorical vision of one person standing on another's windpipe waiting for the last breath to expire

So for a pretty factual observation on someone's lack of competence - certainly an observation for which not one person can provide a rational or logical criticism I am to be judged an arrogant and delusional sociopath on the basis of people's metaphorical visions?
