I plan to install an irrigation system to water a number of fence mounted plant baskets and some large plant pots. I want the option of using either the outside tap or a water butt to provide the water. I am considering using a drill powered pump for the water butt. Will this work ok and is there a minimum capacity (l/h) I should be looking at? Thanks.

Doubt a drill powered pump would work well if at all. What is height of the baskets from ground level and the distance from water butt to the furthest basket.

The baskets are about 2m above the ground and the last basket is around 20m from the water butt
