All that run-around though for something that is really plumbing one 'o' one and should have been the first thing they look for. Makes you wonder just exactly what they were up to. With pumps, that have checked out as fine, then it's invariably down to inadequate flow for one reason or another, so anything end to end, that may restrict the flow, is the first thing that should be checked out. Always start testing with an open ended pipe and if that works then it has to be the outlet!
It would just have been assumed that any experienced pro would have checked that out, as a given - another lesson on why things should never be assumed I guess.
