Push button basin waste

My neighbour has a basin where you press the centre of the waste fitting and it latches down to let the water out. The mechanism has worn so that it doesn't latch. The mechanism looks like it should be replaceable being made of brass and screwed to the chrome parts. Anyone know if they are available?

Thanks but I can find dozens of pop up wastes. The existing item forms part of a pull-out assembly which is held in place and sealed with an O ring.

Probably will only sell the waste as a complete unit anyway so you will have to replace the lot anyway.

Yeah! I had hoped that as they'd designed it for removal without spanners that they'd have made spares available....Doh! back to the real world. Thanks for your input
