Mine is a DELTABELX 3 Existing battery is ORBITPOWER 7.2volts 250mah-NiMh. there is a jumper to set to either default-inernal Batt, Or ext batt. The Ext battery connects to the bottom screw terminal of the 11 terminal strip; and the - ground as the 12v -ve (lets call it T2 ).
I don't see any 7.2volt rechargeable NiMh batteries on ebay though site at https://www.espspecialbatteries.co.uk/battery/ESP-7-32-127B at £18 + p&p £5 (or +£8).

Opening the terminals cover requires disengaging the clear catch at top of LHS of the clear hinged cover.

Full removal of the inner clear cover requires removal of the white support secured by one screw, then the white part slides up then aut (forward). Obviously the connections should be photographed first. Alternatively just attach battery to the said external terminals; and move the jumper to select EXT.

I think £23 is a little steep for the battery. Anyone got a better option?
