Pyronix Enforcer Inputs

I have the above system which is working well and I am now exploring what else I can do with it regarding some home control. I am waiting for the OEM8R8T output expansion to arrive.

The wired inputs are configured as DEOL.

If I wanted to set an input type to switcher to control "something" ie activate an output then I assume I have to wire that input as DEOL with a NC contact with the correct resistors, but what if I change the input option to NO, then how do I wire it?. Stumped by that one or is that an illegal setting when configured as DEOL ?.

Why ? What are you wanting to wire to panel ?

Nothing in particular as yet as an input, most of the input control I do will be via the app or keyfob/s but I am curious what the options are. Being an electronics engineer I like to understand these things.
