did you wire to the correct terminals?
Just had a look and tool station sell them for £3 so I will just go and get on tomorrow. Not sure where you will get one tomorrow if your desperate. b&q, screwfix, tool station maybe
Yes to the silver screws and than tamper to the brass screw.did you wire to the correct terminals?
Yer there is 4 screws on the back the silver ones have wires off them and the rest have nothing. I did it the same as the one I put in on the front door. So it must be faultydon't know how many terminals you have on the contact you have got.
you should be able to see the reed switch connection going to two of the terminals.
I haven’t a clue it wasn’t before just does every time the tamper gets connectedWhy is it setting off the rear bell ?
So it was still going off until I noticed there was a wire for a speaker I have in there that was in the wrong connection. All connected but I cannot remember were to connect my speaker for the shed now. What happens if you just put a link in the control panel end in the tamper terminals for that zone ….is there 12v connected to that cable .? As a tamper loop is a negative loop , if there’s a short to 12+ it could cause an issue
Thanks you’re a superstar.If it is a speaker ….and not a sounder ….as below
