just noticed this one :(

for 3 brownie points the only answer you get is no it can not be done without using other components, relay will work. But you would need box for it to go in, hav an anoying click when lights turned on / off

Methinks its a hatchet job, designed to cut breezer down in his prime, thats why he was axed the question.

Well, I have an excellent solution but it does involve a latching relay. Oh, and PTM switches.......Oh, and a Tx..........Oh, and it does make an annoying "thunk" whenever you hit a PTM......

The advantages are that you can have as many ptm switches as you like all in parallel, and the switching voltage is only 24v.....so you can use alarm cable.

This system is similar to that used in France where they want more than 2 switches.

If anybody's interested, I have a circuit that uses standard changeover relays to emulate a toggling relay. On the other hand, why not just use intermediate switches like everybody else?
