quick electric shower question.

If I was to get an electrician to do all the necessary work up to the positiooin of the shower isiolating swittch, would i then be able to make the final connection to the shower unit at a later date?

That makes a change, most people seem to want to do it the other way round! If the shower is in a bathroom it will be covered by the part p regs which will probably mean you cannot do it yourself unless you go about it in the proper way. However I would not think that your electrician will have any problem about returning to complete the job at a later date. Your best bet would be to ask his advice when he does the first fix.
