Quick MR16 LED lamp question

Ive got a few MR16 12v LED lamps (with the small yellow squares on them, unsure of correct term)

When fitting them in the ceiling spot holder, the retaining clip actually touches the yellow 'squares' (my lamps are 7w, with 72 squares I think) does it matter that the clip touches them?

There was a problem with some lamps used with mains where the live wires could be touched, think called cob lights, so it seems there are some lamps which do have wires or track which is connected to the power and if the clip is shorting out these connections then if could cause problems, all my MR16 compatible LED lights have a glass that stops any contact with the actually LED (yellow bit) or wires.
