im a second year apprentice and i was at work today we were having tea and talkin about lighting circuits id just like to know if this is a good way to wire a one way lighting circuit as a spark said its wrong.. i cant see anything at all wrong with it...

He said its the wrong way to wire a lighting circuit and drew something with a 3 core going into a joint box and then i stopped listening because i knew there was nothing wrong with mine,this lads a bit slow but i mean a qaulified spark should know if it was right thats why im asking you lot.
 
How old is this geezer?

The JB method went out in the 70's...

(Although in some circumstances, it can still be useful.)
 
Hes 22 mate but as i said he isnt the sharpest tool in the box.I allways thought loop in was the way to go thats what a previous spark taught me but this guy was adamant it was wrong.

This is a perfectly acceptable, and common way of wiring lighting circuits.
