345 is wrong, as any schoolkid will tell you.
The link you gave is for a programming language syntax.

I might opine that 142 is correct. I can make a case for that.
Do try to see why...
But that would be stupid because in this context it's wrong.
Even if Rog Penrose said otherwise.

The link I gave shows that if you wrote '14x7+11+6x3' in an APL program it would evaluate as 345.

Enter the digits and operators into a regular calculator in that order and it too will do what APL does. "Wrong" or "different syntax"?

Enter them into an HP16C calculator and it will display 3. "Wrong" or "different syntax"?

If with that calculator you press

14[ENTER]7x11+6[ENTER]3x+ it will display 127. Is that the "wrong" way to express the calculation or a "different syntax"?

Incidentally, you can also get it to display AF or 157. "Wrong"?

Cant see that one.

I can get 1008 with a different precedence order for the operators.

How do you get 142? Is your "different syntax" consistent?

do that sum on a calculator, see what you get.
CBA. Don’t need to. Did it in my head.

Edit: Just for you.

You don’t need brackets. If numbers are in brackets, those sums are done first. Your way is plain wrong. After that, division and multiplication come next but they are equal so they are done in order of left to right. Addition and subtraction comes after those in the order they are shown.
Read this, accept you are wrong and learn something. If you still don’t agree, take it up with one of the many mathematical websites and forums that take the same view. I can’t explain it any simpler. Sorry.
