Yes, wrong. BIDMAS as any schoolboy will tell you.No - not wrong.
345A maths one.
What is 14x7+11+6x3?
It can be several answers, mine is one of them 14x7=98 + 11= 109 +6 =115 x 3 = 345Nope! 127.
Only one of which can be correct. BIDMAS. In that order. It can be several answers
The link I gave shows that if you wrote '14x7+11+6x3' in an APL program it would evaluate as 345.345 is wrong, as any schoolkid will tell you.
The link you gave is for a programming language syntax.
Cant see that one.I might opine that 142 is correct. I can make a case for that.
Do try to see why...
All of which are correct, assuming no arithmetical errors. (i.e. at no stage where you add/subtract/multiply two numbers, whatever they are and however they arose, do you get that operation wrong). It can be several answers
Only one of which can be correct.
Clearly there are other orders.BIDMAS. In that order.
do that sum on a calculator, see what you get.Only one of which can be correct. BIDMAS. In that order.
CBA. Don’t need to. Did it in my head.do that sum on a calculator, see what you get.
There are no brackets in the sum you posted. Try it again with NO brackets.
You don’t need brackets. If numbers are in brackets, those sums are done first. Your way is plain wrong. After that, division and multiplication come next but they are equal so they are done in order of left to right. Addition and subtraction comes after those in the order they are shown.
