There's French,, German, Dutch... Various people involved in eg calling chlorine deflogisticated acid gas.
 
Discovered in Switzerland, Scotland and Sweden according to the source I used.

So linked by discovery in a country beginning with S.

Well I knew about Strontium and Scotland, and chlorine and Sweden, and thought people may make the leap.

Maybe I underestimated the leap required.

Gotta be Justin. He has an 's' in his name as does crystal ball but his 's' is the third letter and not the fourth so he wins………:rolleyes:
 
Oh, er, off top of me ed anf just 5 minutes research, what unusually large, for its type, tourist attraction would you find in Paris, Rome, Palermo, Rabat, Vienna, Brno.

There may be arguments. A lot of places eg London have small ones which I'm not counting and I may have one in or out of "large", in error.
