Hi

I have a combi boiler and 4 radiators in my central heating system.

I bled all of the radiators a few months ago and 3 of the 4 of them appear to be fine. I the past 2 weeks the radiator in my bedroom has started making a popping noise when the heating comes on.

It pops every couple of seconds for about 3 minutes when the heating comes on and then stops.

I tried bleeding the radiator but there wasn't any air coming out.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Thanks

I just wondered because i've lived in the flat for 18 months and it only started making this noise about a fortnight ago.

Thanks

Gillian

Try pressing down on the top of the radiator to make sure it is firm on it's mountings.

If one has had the rad off for decorating etc, then suspect one has lost the plastic spacer.
