We live in an old house - radiators have flow pipes on one side only with what I believe is called a "worm" in "plumb speak" which sits inside the radiator. This was ok on the old radiator that was there as the "worm" was able to just lie in the old radiator - the new radiator is of course different and the "worm" will have to be cut to fit into a tiny hole! We are trying to replace old radiator with a new one without having to do any pipework and ripping up floorboards etc. Anyone got any advice on what approach we should take with the "worm" situation in the radiator?
