I think it would be better if it was impossible for ignored people to reply to the person who is ignoring them.

I think it might be better if it was impossible for ignored people to be seen by the person who pretends to be "ignoring" them.

Just think of the distress you might have saved yourself.

A 24 year age difference is nothing compared to some.

Lucky barstewards. Mind you, you never see any cracking young birds on the arms of retired, penniless pensioners, do you?

I wonder what it was that attracted those women to those ageing billionaires?

Extreme age differences in relationships are rare - except where there is a lot of money involved. It amuses me when these young girls claim to love their withered old men regardless of their money, yet you don't see many beautiful young girls-about-town dating old blokes that are skint.

When I first met 17 year old Mrs mottie-to-be, I told her I had been sitting on piles for years.....

Mind you, Macron's gone the other way. His wife is 25 years older than him. Not bad looking for a 68 year old.

Oh, you mean money ;)

Lots of short-termism in realtionships now. "I've done xx years, thought I'd try being single for a while".

Brigitte Macron was born Brigitte Marie-Claude Trogneux in Amiens, France. She was the youngest of six children[3] of Simone (née Pujol; 1910–1998) and Jean Trogneux (1909–1994), the owners of the five-generation Chocolaterie Trogneux,[4] founded in 1872 in Amiens.[5] The company, now known as Jean Trogneux,[6] is run by her nephew, Jean-Alexandre Trogneux.[4]

;) Maybe he is a toyboy.

Brigitte Marie-Claude Trogneux came from a well off family of generational chocolatiers. Their multi million dollar successful enterprise Chocolaterie Trogneux with a turnover of €4 million was founded in 1872 in Amiens is famous for its delicious macaroons.

Mrs Mottie tells me that many young people getting married nowdays are just having what's called a 'starter marriage'! Apparently it's to get them some experience for future marriages when they can 'upgrade'.

What a load of B***x (the article not your post). Try getting out of a "starter marriage" without sharing your assets. Then you will realise what you agreed to, when you recall the vow "All that I am, I give to you" :D

met my ex when I was 23, married at 31, left her at 49, both worked full time, I paid 90%+ of everything we own, will lose half of everything if I'm lucky. Marriage as they say is a "solum undertaking". :D

I've told my wife she gets the motorbikes and Model T. She says she'll put up with me instead.
I tell Mrs Mottie that if she gets a new bloke, he can finish off all those little decorating bits that she keeps going on at me about.
