Hello - Can anyone help me with a problem with a Range thermal store? It is about 18 years old but the label has come off with the exact model. I know it is a Range model but that is about all. It is a domestic model.

Problem is with the Oventrop blender valve - it is not letting hot water through despite the store being up to temperature. It failed suddenly, so I don't think there is a scale problem inside the store.

Can the valves be serviced - or must I buy a complete new assembly? A replacement looks expensive at well over £100.

You don't have to use an Oventrop if you're prepared/able to alter a little pipework you could use any 22mm TMV. TMV's are available from around £30.00p
