rangemaster grill 110 elements

Hi there
I've just changed both the grill elements in my Rangmemaster cooker - pretty straight forward. The left hand element is fine.
The problem is the right hand side element: it remains on even when switched off at the cooker. I've tried swapping the elements around - makes no difference !! can anyone one help please ?

The energy regulator could be faulty. Why did you change the elements?
if it was because it wasn't working then I would be pretty sure its the energy regulator.

I changed the elements as they stopped working one after another and discovered that they had cracks in them.
Is replacing the regulator a DIY job ? where would it be located in the Rangemaster ?

If you changed the elements, you should be capable of changing the energy reg.
Its the thing that you turn with the knob on, no idea how you get at it though.
