A very odd story.

He has Parky's, is in a home and has disappeared.

The stepson of Feinnes has called for his wife to be stripped of her power of attorney as he believes that she is keeping him away from his family.

His Mrs is a horse trainer and from the older and short clip I saw was barking out very precise instructions to him as if he was a tough old stallion that had to be kept on a tight rein. My guess is he didn’t want to be a burden and insisted on going into a home but circumstances forced him back for the sake of a story. Amazing feller.

I was at a leadership lecture he did once and he shared his thoughts on how to choose the right people. It was fascinating stuff.

There's a good documentary about him "Explorer" currently on Amazon, he's not just an explorer, he's a force of nature!
Although it took a good woman, his first wife to coordinate everything and keep him on the rails.
I can well understand him wanting to be left alone, he's that sort of person.

He will doubtless retain his exceptional mental resilience until the end. Which makes the story about being moved from home to home, and cutting off from his old friends slightly at odds with his description as a sociable person. The police aren't pursuing anything but there does seem to have been a DoLS element at some stage which would involve adult social services.

But his friends and some family say it is out of character.

Someone suffering Alzheimer's can undergo drastic changes in personality as the disease progresses. Mood swings can be common and a totally new character may emerge. It's reasonably easy for them to endure as time goes by since they are unaware of their previous outlook on life but for friends and family who knew them it can be difficult and challenging to deal with.

I wasn’t aware he had been diagnosed or that this was the reason he was being moved around and apparently kept from friends and family.
