I use a lot of the interset (I think that's the right term) fixings, and have a gun type tool (90 degree head-to-handle) to fix them. But my grip is not what it was, and I saw a guy in a passing YT vid with what looked more like a trad pliers with the setting tool pointing out the end. And it was a ratchet.

Can anyone recommend one; or a really good 'gun' type with a ratchet. Ta.

One of these, you mean?

You could extend the handles using tube if it's too hard to squeeze (could do that with your existing too but I dare say it'd make it harder to use

I wonder if lazy tong versions exist, like rivet guns

Either that or forget the tool and just wind the screw to set it:

Grab yourself a bit of plasterboard, make the hole, set the wall fixing perfect, wind a screw into it then mark the screw where it sticks out the back, and grind the threads off it between the mark and the head , or hit it with a welder and grind flush so the threads are filled

You now have a screw you can keep, and spin it with a cordless until it pulls the fixing up and the nut runs onto the non threaded section (stops pulling) or hits the filled in thread (stops turning)

Wind your setting screw out, mount the thing you're hanging and wind a new screw in
