I dont agree with your conclusions except that the fan mod PCB is a design problem.

It should have been replaced before with a revised design which is not expected to fail. Perhaps the original type was fitted.

We have only concluded what your boiler's fault is and thats based only on what you have told us and not on any visits to investigate the problem.

An update after visit from British Gas Boiler Engineer -

The boiler does not fire because the combustion/depression chamber cover does not sit absolutely tight. Screws/Threads are not tight.

The resolution might be a new boiler. because it is not economical to take the boiler off the wall & replace the depression chamber.

That might have resulted from an explosion within the boiler.

I supose you caused that explosion yourself?

You should have got a registered gas engineer to do it for you!

These boilers are crap. Any work has been carried out by so-called "registered engineers".
