Ravenheat rsf100et boiler

Hi guys - hope someone can help me pls...
I have the above mentioned boiler and its not firing up...It tries to and i think the fan is running but doesnt light ??
Any ideas pls ??

As it appears to be a gas problem we cant give DIY advice on it and would suggest a good service is needed, call a gas engineer and tell him the problem before he comes..

really common problem on these is the primary thermistor. Your symptoms point to it.

I ordered a thermistor as someone said it was that but it never arrived !!!
Then i was told it was a gas issue ? How could i check without blowing my house up ??? lol
