My RCB tripped but all MCBs did not trip. To reset the RCB, I isolated each MCB and the kitchen MCB was the problem. I disconnected all appliances and still the RCB would trip if I connected the MCB. I left it off for an hour or so and connected the MCB back and it was ok. Connected fridge and went to work.
I came back from work and found the RCB tripped again. Same problem. I left the MCB disconnected all appliances and left MCB isolated for half hour. Switched on MCB and all seem ok. I have now connected fridge to different circuit.
All seems ok at present. Can it be a faulty MCB?
The RCB circuit also has outdoor circuit.. but this circuit does not appear to be problem.
Any ideas?
