hi
can someone tell me who is responsible for
1. main rcd the one where the suppliers cable goes in as it does not work and i have been told by 2 electricians that technically they should disconnect.
2. pme grounding as i have to put a new consumer in and its a slit load one.
as the old one is too out dated, and i have overhead cable which does not have the correct earthing
thanks

if your incoming cable goes directly into an rcd THEN the meter that would make it on your suppliers side so it is theirs, if it is after the meter it is yours.

your supplier is responsible for P.M.E. Earthing. there should be a separate earth block with a label stating something like "this is a protective multiple earthing installation, do not interfere with earth connection"
